Tucked away in the back streets of Fitzroy is The Union Club Hotel. Located on the corner of Gore and Webb Streets Fitzroy, the Union is a landmark corner pub and a true local. Come in and enjoy a great meal in the dining room or just a quiet afternoon beer in the sun filled public bar. In winter shoot some pool by the open fire whilst catching the footy on the big screen or under-cover in the heated beer garden. When the weather’s fine soak up the sun on the roof deck or relax with friends under the fig tree in the beer garden.

Tucked away in the back streets of Fitzroy is The Union Club Hotel. Located on the corner of Gore and Webb Streets Fitzroy, the Union is a landmark corner pub and a true local. The Union is a meeting place for eating & drinking with friends.
When you go to the Union Club Hotel you've got options. Most places have one parma variety on their menu but Union has two, the classic and the Mexican Chicken. Order the standard for all the usuals including a clever mix of mozzarella and tasty cheese; or up the anti with the Mex to feast on chilli bean Napoli, jalapenos, Virginian leg ham, parmesan and tasty cheese. Both parmas are big, thick and tasty with extra crispy breadcrumbs and come alongside a decent salad and some pretty damn good chips, too. There aren't huge lashings of cheese, but there's plenty of ham if that's your thang. Visit on a Tuesday night and pack a parma for just $15.
It is time to eat again. And another place you absolutely must to check out is Union Club Hotel. It is located in the corners of Fitzroy, and it is a true local pub and landmark in the area. You will be served some traditional Australian pub food, and you can choose to enjoy it in their heated beer garden, rooftop deck or cozy lounge with fireplace. If you’re thirsty they have excellent beers on tap as well as great wine and cocktail options.
The Union Club Hotel is a Fitzroy stalwart. Walk into any of its rooms, any day of the week, and you'll see a steady collection of loyal locals knocking back pots. While it's a traditional Aussie pub, it has adapted to the times. It's lineup of good pub grub (parmas, burgers and steaks) come with considered gluten-free and vegetarian alternatives (eggplant parma, felafel burger and Nepalese dahl). It's walls are covered with music posters from yonder, but other walls adorn more recent street are, and the sprawling, heated beer garden downstairs is spotted with lush fig leafs. There's another option for outdoor dining, too, a rooftop deck — perfect for sunlit after-work drinks.
Famous long before its appearance on TV series Offspring, the venerable Union Club nails the atmosphere of a warm, low-key local. Sink into a leather couch by the hearth with some bangers, mash, beer and a bass guitar backing track.
